In 1919, KDL was founded as a retail store doing small appliance repair and locksmith work. As time went on, KDL eliminated the retail side of its business and focused solely on delivering wholesale goods to the locksmith market. In 1984 KDL co-founded a strategic partnership with other like-minded distributors across the USA called Security Distributors Inc (SDI). The buying power of SDI allows its members to buy at more competitive prices and pass those on to our dealers. It also allows us very competitive rates on UPS and FedEx which allow us to get your goods to you as inexpensively as possible.
